The Simply Indie Film Fest took place during the last weekend of February, bringing together filmmakers, actors, writers, and movie lovers to watch, share and appreciate independent films. You can read more about the event in Jennifer Seaton’s recent Edmond Business article.

The inaugural festival included shorts and feature films showings at ShowBiz Cinema, a screenplay event at Commonplace Books, and a photography contest. It was a great gathering of artists, hobbyists, and fans, and I expect this weekend-long event to continue growing and to become a staple in Edmond’s culture and arts community.
