Edmond business women join with other women across central Oklahoma

The BBB Serving Central Oklahoma are holding their inaugural Revere & Revel conference honoring and celebrating women of integrity in business.

Women can and women do. And they do it together – alongside allyships, mentorships, communities, and in each realm of life, women move forward. They uplift. At BBB® Serving Central Oklahoma’s inaugural Revere & Revel™, women will join their advocates to learn together:

  • Cultivating leadership skills.
  • Standing on their core values.
  • Engaging in discussion on topics that matter.

Along with presenting sponsors American Fidelity and INSURICA, BBB® Serving Central Oklahoma will host their inaugural conference, Revere & Revel™, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, October 20 at Moore Norman Technology Center’s South Penn campus, 13301 South Pennsylvania Avenue in Oklahoma City.

Revere & Revel™ is a conference designed by the BBB® team to honor and celebrate women who live out their personal missions boldly and highlight the good they do in our local community.

Edmond resident and current BBB® serving Central Oklahoma President and CEO Kitt Letcher said, “Revere & Revel is a one-of-a-kind conference to celebrate women who live out their personal missions boldly, and to encourage our attendees, men and women alike, to challenge and break the molds set before them. We look forward to setting a standard for BBB conferences with Revere and Revel.”

At Revere & Revel™, women and their advocates will come together to build leadership skills and make lifelong connections. Attendees can expect to hear from local leaders such as Erika Lucas, Victoria Woods, Stacy Eads, Shiny Rachel Mathew, Hannah Schmitt, and many more leading ladies. Topics for the conference include Negotiating Your Salary, Boundaries in Business, and Vulnerability in Leadership.

Edmond resident and founder and CEO of ChappelWood Financial Services Victoria Woods, The Financial Diva, is an author, radio show host, television host, and was named one of the 50 Most Influential Women by The Journal Record. She has been featured in media outlets, including the Today Show, Success Today TV, Newsweek, Barron’s, and Fox Business. Victoria will present at the conference as a Revere & Revel™ Special Guest Speaker.

During her Revere & Revel™ presentation, “Know Your Worth, Then ADD TAX!”, Victoria will share inspiring stories of women who have learned to stop discounting their professional and personal value.

When asked why she chose to speak at Revere & Revel™, Victoria said, “At this time in my career, I have an amazing team, dedicated to delivering premier service to every client. This allows me to fulfill a passion for sharing my experiences, knowledge, resources, relationships, and successes to help women get from A -Z much faster than I did by avoiding the minefields.”

Revere & Revel™ is unique in that the conference will bring together women in business while also acknowledging how women succeed from building strong allyships in the community. Though the themes of this conference are women-centric and the speaker lineup is made up of women leaders, everyone is invited to honor and celebrate the impact women have in our community, personally and professionally.

Businesses do not have to be BBB® Accredited to attend the conference. Current ticket pricing promotions for the conference include a 20 percent discount on General Admission tickets with code “SAVE20,” as well as a Buy Two, Get One Free ticket option for those looking to purchase multiple tickets.
