Arvesa Empowered Wellness
Grace Manning is spearheading a revolution in holistic wellness with her company, Arvesa Empowered Wellness. Dedicated to creating natural, effective skincare and wellness products, Grace has combined her passion for holistic health with an entrepreneurial spirit to bring a unique brand to life.
From passion to profession
Grace Manning, the founder of Arvesa Empowered Wellness, officially established her LLC over two years ago, although her journey began much earlier. “I’ve had it for like five or six years,” she recalled. Her deep-rooted love for holistic health and natural remedies inspired her to start creating products that align with her family’s lifestyle. “We are very holistic-minded and don’t really use allopathic medicine,” she explained.
With a significant social media following, Grace was encouraged by her community to start producing and selling her homemade remedies. “People were like, ‘Why don’t you just make them and I’ll buy them from you?'” This support spurred her to take the plunge and turn her passion into a business.
The journey of Arvesa Empowered Wellness
Grace’s first product was ApotheaHoney. This herbal infusion, made with calendula, chamomile flowers, and beeswax, was designed to treat cuts, scrapes, and burns.
The demand for her products quickly grew, leading her to expand her offerings. Today, Arvesa boasts around 30 different products, including tallow skincare, homemade salves for wounds and diaper rash, wellness tinctures, and more.
Innovative products and expansions
Grace continuously develops new products to meet her customers’ needs. “I’m working on a peppermint hair serum, tallow soap, and bug repellent bars,” she said. These new additions reflect her commitment to providing natural and effective solutions for everyday wellness.
Challenges and triumphs
Running a business single-handedly has its challenges, but Grace’s determination keeps her moving forward. “I do everything. I create all the products, keep inventory, make everything, design the labels, and manage the website,” she explained.
Despite the daunting workload, Grace finds the process rewarding, especially after leaving a nine-to-five job she didn’t enjoy. “Even though this is more stressful and I work 24/7, I would never go back to that ever again.”
Community and growth
Grace’s products are primarily sold online, where her strong social media presence has helped her achieve significant success. “I made over a hundred grand in the first year because of my social media following,” she shared. Her products are also available at the Conscious Community Co-op, but her ambition doesn’t stop there. Grace aims to expand her brand into more local stores and ultimately reach larger chains like Sprouts and Natural Grocers.
Grace was recently accepted into the Made in Oklahoma program and is enthusiastic about the networking opportunities and potential collaborations. “I’m getting a lot of different emails and offers to participate in various vendor-oriented events around the state,” she said.
The future of Arvesa Empowered Wellness
Grace’s vision for the future includes not only expanding her product line and retail presence but also finding the manpower to support this growth. “I need to find the manpower if larger stores take my company on,” she noted. With two young children, balancing her business and family life is a priority, but Grace remains committed to her mission of providing holistic wellness solutions.
