Over two weeks in December, S&B’s Burger Joint in Edmond moved two miles west to their new location at 1000 W. 192nd Street. The previous site at 840 West Danforth closed on December 2. The new location, one of eleven across the state, opened to the public on Monday, December 14.
S&B’s continues to offer all their standard fare at the new location, including chicken tenders, salads, Keto, Vegan, and Gluten-Free Options, and of course, their award-winning burgers and sliders. You can add a drink from their full bar and even complete your meal with one of their Over-the-Top Milkshakes.
The new Edmond location includes outside seating, which is an upgrade and is especially beneficial for those more comfortable dining outside. All S&B’s locations have increased the frequency and extent of their cleaning and sanitizing practices in response to COVID-19.
President Kevin Burke shared, “In all our years of business, S&B’s has continuously worked to achieve local and national industry standards related to the cleanliness and sanitation practices of our restaurants.”
Leadership at S&B’s is closely monitoring the advice and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and educating their employees on preventative measures.
The new building is slightly smaller than the previous location, coming in at just under 5,450 square feet compared to the previous 6,300 square feet. However, the outside patio seating and the fact that the building is newer appear to be advantageous. The move was prompted by the expiration of the lease at the previous location.
S&B’s invited several customers and community members to a preview event on December 11 and 12. The Edmond Chamber of Commerce also joined the S&B’s Burger Joint team for a ribbon cutting on December 21, 2020.
